Proxy Servers is an appliance or applications that act as an intermediary for communicating between computers.
From Security point of view, a proxy servers can do be use as :
- Protect the anonymity of the originating computer
- Communication between two computers never deal direct with each others.
- Packets that are not configured to be forwarded are dropped before reaching the destination computers.
